 Please follow [wiki:TipsForBugReports the instructions] to get a debug log
 and attach it to this ticket.[[BR]]Please get a debug log containing the
 output from when Pidgin starts up until you open the Preferences Dialog
 for the first time.

 The existence of those dictionary files should be all that's necessary
 (assuming that those files are valid and you're running Pidgin in US
 English).
