I believe you are right, this is an issue when using certain input
methods. I wonder which Input Method you are using. The Microsoft Pinyin
IME is shipped with Microsoft Windows 7 series. And It is the default IME
of Simplified Chinese. This is a CJK related issue.[[BR]]
I've just installed the latest version of MSPY IME from M$'s site. The bug
still exists.[[BR]]
I've tried some popular Simplified Chinese IMEs, the results are as
follows: [[BR]]
Google Pinyin IME[http://www.google.com/intl/zh-CN/ime/pinyin/] is '''not
affected'''. [[BR]]
QQ Pinyin IME[http://py.qq.com/] is '''not affected'''.[[BR]]
Microsoft Pinyin IME([http://www.microsoft.com/china/pinyin/]) is
'''affected seriously'''. [[BR]]
Sougou Pinyin IME[http://pinyin.sogou.com/] is '''affected
seriously'''.[[BR]]
NOT AFFECTED here means missing the first keystrocks only, while AFFECTED
SERIOUSLY means backspace and enter keystrocks are ignored till restarting
the program.[[BR]]
BTW, Sougou Pinyin and QQ Pinyin are the most popular IMEs in China.[[BR]]
Wish my experiment would help.
