Comment:

 I already attached the debug log by following the instructions.  I
 installed the debug symbols and ran it, then attached the resulting
 pidgin.rpt file to the ticket.

 I use the windows firewall, and when this crash started happening I
 immediately disabled it and that had no effect.  Up until yesterday pidgin
 was working fine with the firewall enabled, and there were no (at least
 nothing initiated by me) changes to the system.

 I also tried Windows Live Messenger and it is working with no problems.
