 Indeed. My fault entirely.
 First an explanation.
 gdk_window_is_destroyed() was added in gtk+ 2.18. I built against 2.22,
 which obviously has the function, but Pidgin  officially supports versions
 starting from 2.14 and distributes 2.16, which do not.
 I'm fixing my environment and will edit this message if I manage to build
 against that.
