 Hi,

 I'm referring to the Pidgin symbol within the notification area. Normally
 when clicking on it, the main Pidgin window appears. However in case there
 are notifications of Pidgin itself, these notifications are shown when
 clicking on the symbol. Each of these notifications provides an "x" to
 close it.

 With the recent upgrade to GNOME 3.6 whenever closing such a notification
 of Pidgin by clicking on the "x" the whole Pidgin symbol disappears from
 the notification area and I have to restart Pidgin in order to get the
 symbol back.

 This probably sounds confusing, so let me know if you need any more
 details.
