New description:

 for those who used pidgin before then upgraded to sp3 on xp from sp2 could
 it be something in sp3 caused the room list not display when using
 pidgin..you click on the room list and it does not even show any of the
 rooms like it does not even want to try i know it may sound weird but
 could that be the problem? would some look into this for me? thank you if
 you can figure it out...when i had sp2 xp pidgin ran fine signed in
 clicked room list and room list came up and i would select my room now i
 just get a blank screen when i click room list and i have tried everything
 like a previous ticket commented uninstalled wiped hard drive reinstalled
 windows and still the same problem...i figured that is the only thing i
 could think that is causing this
