 I don't see this ticket as invalid.  I came across the same issue.

 One of the points being made is that you should put a warning on the
 "remember password".  You can't expect people to have read the Wiki page
 if they don't know it is there.  If you put a warning on the dialog to at
 least point them to the wiki page then people will be aware of the issues.
 Most people would assume that if you are saving a password it is secure,
 and you aren't warning them otherwise.  You aren't taking security
 seriously.
