 Hello,

 Pidgin windows is not showing up in Ubuntu 12.04 Unity desktop. There's a
 bug report in launchpad since 2011-10-22 (Ubuntu 11.10), see the
 description:

 "Pidgin is just not visible. It shows on the message menu, it whos on
 Unity and it even shows on the global Menu, it's just... not on screen.
 This problem is happening often but i don't know as a result of what,
 since it works upon launching, but may not upon relaunching. After Pidgin
 put together the information for thisre port, the window shoed up again
 but disappeared from Unity, although currently working."

 It seems to be a problem with Popsups Libnotify plugin, take a look at

 When I debugged Pidgin, the problem did not appear.

 This problem is affecting more than 90 people at "bug heat launchpad"
