 This ticket is a reopening of https://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/15617
 because the bug is still present with GLib 2.37.5. Here is the original
 description:

 I'm using Ubuntu 13.10 dev and if I'm login into my ICQ account a second
 pidgin process will spawn. This process will become a zombie after a few
 seconds and permanently registered as a child process of the first pidgin
 process.
