 Yes I managed to successfully recompile with Perl 5.16. There was an issue
 with STRINGIFY macro not being picked up. I manually overrode this is
 perl-common.h (patch attached).

 I suspect Microsoft released an update that broker Perl 5.10's autoloader.
 This was fixed in a subsequent release of Perl.
