Comment:

 We honor the server-side roster on XMPP, so if you want Facebook buddies
 in different groups, you have to create groups and such via the Facebook
 website.  If you're setting pounces on the buddies you've moved to other
 groups, then that's why they're disappearing--we remove the buddies
 because they don't exist on the server list, and any pounces associated
 with those buddies are deleted as well.  If the pounces are set on the
 moved buddies, then Pidgin is functioning as designed.
