 The problem occurred for me again. I moved the ssl plugins out of the
 directory and it then starts, but without needed functionality. The log
 from the failed run is the same as the original log. Without the SSL
 plugins, the log continues from the end of that log with:

 and so on.

 Is there a way to determine why ssl is choking? Should Pidgin really be
 hanging there as opposed to timing out and raising an error (not familiar
 with how this works)?
