Comment:

 I've never seen this crash before, which probably means it's caused by
 something somewhat unusual about your configuration.

 Something must have changed around the time it started crashing. This
 specific crash seems to be related to Windows looking up a color profile
 for an image. You may try renaming your `.purple/prefs.xml` (see the
 [wiki:FAQ] for where that is on your computer) to see if starting with a
 new set of preferences eliminates a  problematic theme image or something.

 Ultimately, this is crashing deep enough in the Windows internals that the
 cause is almost certainly something that was installed or configured there
 - perhaps a graphics driver or something like that. It's possible that it
 was something installed a while ago and only took effect with a reboot or
 perhaps this effect wasn't noticeable until you restarted pidgin.
