Comment:

 There is a new version of gnutls -
 [http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.encryption.gpg.gnutls.devel/6623
 3.1.8] that reverts back the default minimum DH bits to 727. So the
 problem in Pidgin is fixed now...
