 The timing for this is pretty unfortunate since we're (finally) releasing
 (with a number of embargoed security fixes) on 2/13.

 Since this attack isn't really suited to the IM use case, my current
 thought is that it can just wait until the next release unless there's a
 compelling reason that I'm missing (changing the date now will complicate
 things for packagers).
