 It seems to me that finch support is actually quite straight forward. The
 main issue here is to have a clean patch to pidgin-otr or we'd have a
 second plugin, purple-otr for finch support.

 Either would be fine with me - though that is largely just bike shedding
 as nearly all of the work has already been done in the purple-otr.git
