 SSL '''is''' set up with a plugin architecture.  What we really need, more
 than anything else at the moment, is for someone to write an schannel
 plugin for use on Windows and tie us into the Windows certificate store.
 I believe there's already a ticket for that somewhere, but I don't recall
 where at the moment (and honestly I'm too lazy to look).
