 Hello,

 I've been trying XMPP for a while and the buddies add doesn't seem to
 work.

 I add people as name at jabber.org and although they see my invitation and
 accept it they keep appearing offline on my buddy list (and I appear
 offline in theirs) but we can start a conversation and talk, despite being
 offline (manually forcing a conversation).

 I've tried they adding me and happens the same (I see the invitation, I
 accept it, but we see each other offline too).

 If I log into pidgin to the two accounts from the same PC then it yes
 works (I see the other connected on the buddy list).

 With gtalk contacts I have no problem at all, it works perfectly.

 I've been searching in the web without success, so I hope someone could
 help me.
