 Hi,
 I have Pidgin running and when I get an email into my email account,
 Pidgin will show "1 new emails." I click the X on Pidgin and the
 toolbar/message disappears. Then, I start Outlook and look at the email.
 When doing so, the email is no longer on the server at Yahoo.
 Then another email comes in. Pidgin now shows "2 new emails." Again I
 start Outlook to look at the new email. The problem is that Pidgin should
 have an option to reset the count. Pidgin just keeps incrementing the
 count, but this is incorrect after a bunch of emails keep coming in. The
 only way to get an accurate count is by shutting off Pidgin and restarting
 it each time Outlook is opened. This is not acceptable when Pidgin is on
 for hours at a time.
 Maybe the fix to this is to add another button to the left of the X button
 telling to reset the count. X just means to close the message bar. Maybe
 call it the R button.
