 Hi,

 Would it be possible to re open this issue. Openfire answers the ping
 requests and the blank requests as well. But for some reasons I did not
 find, Pidgin will not handle certain ping replies.

 Look inside the debug log at time between 13:58 and 14:01. The reply of
 ping from 13:59:33 is being replied to at 13:59:54 but for some reason, it
 is not interpreted inside pidgin.

 I also have a wireshark packet sniffing if you need. I can see the ping
 reply in it.

 Could you take a look at this please ?
