 Hi,

 This is not so much a bug as a design flaw. I've accidentally dragged a
 4MB picture onto a buddy and clicked yes when it was suggested to make the
 picture a buddy icon (I thought it would send the picture).
 I didn't really give it any thought and forgot about it. Since then I've
 experience incredible lag with Pidgin, with CPU going all the way to 100%
 each time I tabbed to it or switched tabs in it. A week later, remembering
 my mistake, I removed the buddy icon and all was well.
 I suggest Pidgin either resize large images or refuse to accept them, to
 avoid such problem from persisting.
