 The "uri-handler" signal used to be sent when a link was clicked upon.
 Various code relies on this, for example the xmpp uri handler in
 libxmpp.c. As of 2.10.7, this signal is not being emitted. I confirmed
 with the signals-test plugin that it is not sent. However xdg-open is
 still invoked for http links, so something is going on.

 I've tested in linux and windows.
