 > To illustrate further: In my ~/.purple/logs/ subdirectories, one current
example log is stored under a filename of
"2013-06-22.193812+0200CEST.html". This is as it should be as concerns
this bug report, with some fixed datetime stamp format that is similar to
an ISO 8601 format, and its timezone specifier as "+0200" (as well as the
 "CEST" abbreviation).

I just checked and found that the log file itself also contains the
correct (expected by me) timezone specifier sign semantic in its heading,
and it seems to properly use my current locale's d_t_fmt, resulting in
"Conversation with [removed icq user id] at 2013-06-22 19:38:12 +0200 Sat
on [removed icq user id] (icq)".

This heading is not displayed by the log viewer; at the top of its window
the log viewer writes a similar "Conversation with [...]" line but this
appears to be formatted separately rather than extracted from the heading
 in the file.
