 I can confirm the same problem on my two machines. Using the offline
 installer and than renamed the exe to pidgin-portable.exe. Both machines
 have Win7 x64 and on both machines 2.10.6 works fine. Even when I am
 extract 2.10.7 into a fresh copy, I've get the errors.

 Ive also tried to rename all remaining zlib1.dll files, but without any
 luck.
