 (this ticket is similar to #14943 but more general)

 In most of protocols you don't need more than username and password to log
 in, so idea is: why should we show more input boxes than we need. It's
 confusing inexperienced users and power users can find more advanced
 options in another tab.

 I had done some usability testing with pidgin (because of my undergraduate
 assignment) and it showed like a problem, that users had to guess if all
 of fields are required or only those that are required usually
 (username&password)

 I am willing to write patch for this, or at least try it (since I didn't
 look at Pidgin's source yet).
