 I had the same experience.  I've had two-factor auth on for a while.  I
 had App Passwords generated for each Pidgin install on multiple machines.
 Then they stopped working recently.  I discovered last week that my normal
 FB password now works and the App Passwords do not.  Seems like FB screwed
 up on the two-factor auth IMO....
