 From time to time, when I start pidgin, the icon it shows in the system
 tray is too big (and clipped in my case). It has had this problem for many
 years, and it was never fixed. Several bugs have already been filed about
 this (1721, 2025, 2466, 4036, 6161), some of them with patches, but
 absolutely none of them has been resolved, they just got marked as
 duplicate of each other or out of date. That is ridiculous.
 I'm using Gentoo Linux and KDE 4.10.5, if that matters.
