 Hi,

 I'm using the latest Pidgin version 2.10.7 on GNU/Linux.

 The built-in DigiCert High Assurance ".pem" file is out-dated.

 You can see the cert check failure in the log file enclosed.

 Patch proposal :

 replace the actual file stored on Linux in the following path :

 /usr/share/purple/ca-certs/DigiCertHighAssuranceCA-3.pem

 by this one :
