 I work in a university office and with 6 students assistants.  We have
 pidgin loaded on 4 computers.  The students over the summer were able to
 create accounts (using the xmpp protocol as directed by out IT department)
 on all of these computers.  Recently, I have new students that I'm trying
 to create accounts for.  I follow the same instructions exactly when
 creating their accounts.  Pidgin does not seem to accept anything that we
 input.  Any suggestions?
