nickname with whitespaces

I am using Pidgin 2.10.7 (libpurple 2.10.7) under Windows 7 x64.
Given an XMPP chatroom (MUC):
1) Someone joins with the nickname "Test test"
2) I type "/kick Test test" to kick him (and have permission to do that)
3) I receive message "Unable to kick user Test"
I have also tested different commands and they fail to do anything with
participant "Test test". Every time the error message was "<command-
specific error message> Test".
It seems that something is wrong with argument parsing for jabber
conference commands.
