[Pidgin] #16193: Pidgin 2.2.0 core dumps only during XMPP login. It was working fine but after I have removed Certificates at Certificate manager, it started core dumping every time.

 My company uses Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.8 (Tikanga),
 which comes with GLIB 2.5. Latest Pidgin requires GLIB 2.16. I will
 appreciate if you could give some work around for for Pidgin 2.2.0.
