 According to the first comment in #7491, it appears that unsaved statuses
 should go away automatically. In my experience (running Pidgin 2.10.9 on
 Windows 8) this doesn't happen.

 In addition, it's not at all obvious how to remove them, though I think
 this is less of a problem than the first issue.
