#16485: Pidgin Crashes Randomly When Dragging Windows
---------------------+-----------------------------------------------

Milestone: | Component: unclassified
Version: 2.10.11 | Keywords: glib win8 crash move window error
---------------------+-----------------------------------------------
After having Pidgin running for some time (not easy to reproduce), it will
crash when dragging a window to a new position on the screen. I'm not
sure exactly the minimum amount of time it needs to be running, but it
could be > 8 hours (It usually happens when I wake up in the morning and
 check my backlog of messages).

The log shows the following during the crash:

 ----------------------------------------

Seems to be some sort of GLib error, but I don't know enough to guess at
specifics. I'm running Pidgin Portable (2.10.11) on Windows 8.1.
Previously, it was running without problem on Windows 7, and I started
noticing the crash when I moved the portable install over to my Win8.1
system, so it may be related to something different in GLib on Win8/8.1,
 but I'm just guessing.
