 I can't see this plugin running properly on the lastest version of Pidgin.
 However it's very annoying to let the user handle this feature, could it
 be possible to add it directly in Pidgin itself? It's a major part of the
 XMPP protocol, supported by most of clients (Gajim, Jitsi, Kopete, Psi,
 Psi+, etc.) Pidgin and Empathy are the ones to don't support it by default
 and make the life very complicated to switch from client or just reconnect
 from home to work.
