 (and I only took, like, 15 hours to learn how to compile) hehehe

 I have a little bug here, though... (maybe it's not the right place to
 post this):
 The "log-in.png" and "log-out.png" (from: "pixmaps\pidgin\status\") are
 not disappearing after 10 seconds (as it should be) in the Buddy List...
 I have to "select" the buddies manually to refresh the icon (and become:
 "available.png")
 anyone know why is it happening?

 I compiled "pidgin-2.10.9" in Windows, with Gtk+ 2.24.10, changing this
 line (in the '''Makefile.mingw''' file):
 {{{
 GTK_INSTALL_VERSION = 2.24.10
 }}}

 and also, changing this line (in the '''\libpurple\win32\global.mak'''
 file):
 {{{
 GTK_TOP ?= $(WIN32_DEV_TOP)/gtk_2_0-2.24
 }}}
