 When i installed linux, pidgin worked fine to log into my google talk
 account, but one day i started getting the error "Server does not use any
 supported authentication method" when it tried logging into my gtalk
 account. I presumed it was possibly a version issue and upgrade from
 2.10.3 to 2.10.9, but still no luck. Luckily i did remember that i did
 something the day this problem arose. I changed the value in
 /etc/hostname. So i searched and found the original value and changed it
 back and its working again. I'm assuming you can reproduce this error, but
 if not, i can send you the debug logs.
