 I'm running pidgin 2.10.7-r4 in gentoo x86_64 (current stable) with a KDE
 desktop.

 When someone offers me a file, the notification dialog allowing me to
 accept the transfer opens below all other windows, and does not register
 for the taskbar/window list/Alt-Tab window switching.

 The result is:
 a. I mostly do not notice offered files at all
 b. When I know there's a file it is nevertheless very troublesome to dig
 out the notification window allowing me to accept it.

 In my opinion, it would be a good idea to bring all notification dialogs
 opened by pidgin to the top whenever one of its windows (or "main
 windows", buddy list and active chats) becomes active.

 This is not a regression, it's been like this since "forever" or at least
 quite a while. I'm not 100% sure that I encountered this problem with KDE
 3.5, but quite certain at least since I started using KDE 4.x in 2010.


 I'm happy to give any further information that could help, and I'm
 comfortable trying patches etc.
