 So this is yet another version of the problem. How exciting.

 Would it be possible for you to reinstall 2.10.7 and get the debug log
 output from a successful connection?

 This attempt stops at the first error of this sort but given where that
 happens I expect that there will be more so it would probably be a good
 idea to try to cover all of them the first time instead of needing a few
 rounds back and forth.
