 When the gstreamer-0.10/registry.bin is deleted/missing (when the pidgin
 is first started and registry.bin was not created by other GStreamer
 applications), pidgin would crash with a segfault. During this crash, a
 registry.bin file is created, so the next invocation of pidgin would start
 normally. This happens with all plugins disabled.

 On Fedora 20 x86_64.

 A proposed patch was also included, simply calling "gst_init" in
 pidgin/pidgin.c before "pidgin_start" seems to resolve this issue.
