 Please backport Windows FHS support from the 3.x branch into 2.x. This
 would allow building of Pidgin as a proper package in Unix-like
 environments such as Cygwin, MSYS, and MSYS2.

 Below are two commits related to FHS support in the 3.x branch, but there
 seems to be more. Also, FHS has been implemented on top of the autotools
 support, so it needs to be mapped into the static makefiles of the 2.x
 branch.
