 PROBLEM:
 Extra newline is inserted when I send a chat message for the first time.
 (Attached screenshot)

 ENVIRONMENT/SOFTWARE VERSIONS:
 OS: Windows 8.1
 Pidgin: 2.10.10 libpurple 2.10.10
 Using for Google Talk service

 HOW TO REPRODUCE:
 - Open the chatting windows for a user on Google Talk
 - Simultaneously open same Gmail account in a browser and stay signed in
 for chat.
 - Using Pidgin send a chat message to a user.
 - Cross check the sent message in the Gmail window, you can see the extra
 newline in the message sent.
 - On subsequent sending of chat messages, this behavior is not observed.

 Not tried for any other chatting service.
