 While using pidgin in a heavily populated twitch IRC, the program is
 intermittently unresponsive. My guess is it's related to the way periodic
 /whois, /ison, and /away is handled. The server will announce who has left
 and joined channels all at once (turning off parting messages didn't
 help), resulting in massive lag. Meanwhile, using more IRC centric
 programs such as Hexchat, there doesn't seem be any issues.
 I've tried many versions and it was to no avail, any workaround would be
 greatly appreciated.
