 If a computer with non-ascii name goes online, all other Pidgin instances
 on the network misbehave and/or crash. It seems the problem only happens
 on Windows, and when using Pidgin version 2.7.4 or later. Earlier Pidgin
 versions are visible properly on the network and working fine, except they
 still misbehave if a "bad" version goes online.
