 My client connects to gmail.com and jabber.ccc.de.  I am on a highly
 unreliable network connection that stalls or drops many times a day (in
 Iraq).  Typically the gmail.com account will reconnect automatically but
 the jabber.ccc.de account will not.  I also link to chat.facebook.com.
 Sometimes during reconnect facebook reports a fatal error (bad
 credentials) on reconnect.

 * Google reconnects automatically
 * Facebook I can reconnect to manually from the interface without a
 restart.
 * jabber.ccc.de will not reconnect ("reconnecting" message persists
 indefinitely) unless I quit and restart, and then it reconnects
 immediately.

 Pidgin 2.10.11 (libpurple 2.10.11)

 I will amend with a debug log next time it fails.  I note a number of
 reconnect failure tickets, but they all seem to be resolved by initiating
 a manual reconnect.  This does not work with jabber.ccc.de for me and
 automatic reconnect almost always works with gmail.com with the same
 client at the same time.
