 If I highlight text in a conversation window, use ctrl-c to copy it, most
 of the time, it is not in the clipboard.  What seems to work most reliably
 but still not 100% is right click and click the icon to the left of Copy.
 Clicking on the word Copy is unreliable, and maybe that doesn't work at
 all.
