 Since Google is discontinuing XMPP service today by shutting down the
 Google Talk connector in Hangouts, what is the future of Google instant
 messaging support in libpurple? Hangouts support would be a "killer app",
 since the official Hangouts client lacks many of the features (such as
 buddy list aliases and tabbed chats) that kept people using the Talk
 desktop client, but there is a large Hangouts userbase that could benefit
 from Pidgin.
