 **WM:**
 - Problem is not WM-dependend I think
 - could reproduce it on
   - OSX 10.10.2 using the Terminal from Apple
   - gentoo using xterm

 **other:**
 - running inside tmux on a remote machine via ssh
 - system on the remote machine is debian 7
