 All of our downloads are signed - see [wiki:"Are the packages
 signed#WindowsInstallers" the documentation] on how to verify your
 downloaded binary.

 Regardless of the download location, checking the signature is the only
 way to ensure that you have something that hasn't be messed with.

 I've got ~90% of a new download implementation (a trac plugin that we can
 host ourselves) done, but haven't had time to finish it for the past few
 months.

 When that's done, we won't use sourceforge anymore (at least not as a
 primary download location).
