 I found that if I set the priority, and then exited out of pidgin and
 restarted it, that it would take effect.  It doesn't work if I change it,
 and the just log out Google Talk and back in. I had to restart Pidgin.
 This is with version 2.10.11, Purple Plugin Pack 2.7.0, compiled and
 running on SPARC Solaris.  It's clumsy, but it seems to work.
