 Unfortunately, this is probably going to mean that I will not be upgrading
 until the interaction between the message splitter in the purple plugin
 pack and the new versions of pidgin are fixed.

 I could probably mean that I will not be upgrading at all for a very long
 time since I'm not sure if the purple plugin pack is being actively
 developed.
